I collect aphorisms and quotes. When I read this one, I paused to reflect on the words and their meaning. I thought about how long art has been a part of my life. It is true that when you think about your art, you realize that it does tell the story of your life.

~ Paper Crafting Projects~

I finished the year making 442 cards, several stationery boxes/sets and 10 albums. And so we start a new year.

The first project of the year is submitting a card made from a sketch from Mojo Monday blog.

The card has a clear embossed background using Stampin Up "Something Lacy" stamp.  The round flourish is from Kaisercraft, the flower from Spellbinders.  The sentiment is Stampin Up "Butterfly Basics" (I wanted to use this flourish frame but it wouldn't fit on my card vertically.)
